Active School Week
Our Active Schools week takes place in June every year. During the week we try to undertake as much of the school curriculum outdoors including maths trails, natural sciences, orienteering activities, obstacle courses and of course Sports Day!
Sports Day
As part of our Active School Week we held our annual Sports Day. This year we spent the whole day in Newmarket on Fergus GAA grounds. We spent the morning session partaking in various team fun activites. In the afternoon we had our class races and tug of war.. After lunch we played hurling games and the senior classes played the finals of the school hurling league.

Active Home Week
During the both ‘remote learning’ periods the pupils in Clonmoney enjoyed weekly active tasks set by the teachers and coaches. In June ’20 and February ’21 we held an ‘Active Week’ which the children engaged in from home. The response from all classes was fantastic.
