Our new Green Schools committee met in November for the first time. The 6th theme entitled ‘Global Citizenship – Litter and Waste’, with the focus on how we can further reduce our waste production both in school and in our wider community. Our newly elected committee comprises of Rose Purcell; Luke O’Leary; Tom McHugh; Ella Kirby; Alex Kearns; Jodi Quish; Joseph Coyle and Gregory Tucker. This committee will report back to their respective classes on discussions held in the committee meetings. 2nd-6th classes received a Global Awareness survey to complete & we will continue our work on global awareness of environmental issues.
