Wellbeing Promotion

For the past two years Clonmoney N.S. have participated in the ‘Active school Flag’ initiative. In order to be successful in the Active School Flag we have self-evaluated, planned, implemented and monitored improvements in several areas such as the children’s physical activity throughout the day, our active travel efforts and our partnership with the local community. We also hold an Active School Week during the year. You may have heard your child discussing the Active School Flag at home or mentioning the strategies we have already put in place. As the Active School Flag involves the whole school community we would encourage you to also provide opportunities for your children to be active at home. Additionally, if you think you have any skills or ideas that would be of benefit to the Active School Flag we would love you to get involved. Your support of the Active School Flag is greatly appreciated.
